Blender is completely free and open-source.
Go to: https://www.blender.org
You’ll see a big button showing the latest version (e.g., “Download Blender 4.1”).
Blender automatically detects your operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux).
For Windows users:
.exe (Installer) – Recommended for beginners.
.zip – Portable version (no installation needed, just unzip and run).
Click the button to begin downloading.
File size is around 200–300 MB.
For Windows:
Double-click the .exe file.
Click Next, agree to the terms, and install.
Choose whether to create a desktop shortcut.
After installation, open Blender.
First launch may take a few seconds as it sets up preferences.
